Make Screen Saver Your Background
Maads 101 here.
Today, you might notice a few things about my computer. Right now, there's this bouncing icon in my dock called Backer, and my background is my screen saver. I'm going to show you how to do this on your Mac easily and simply.
Here's how you do this: first, you download the application. We'll have a download and a link for it in the description, so just click the link in the description to download it. Then, you just open it up, and you’ll see that your background is your screen saver.
So, you can set your screen saver to be whatever you want it to be, and your background will be like that no matter what you open up. It's really cool to just do this and have this in the background. Of course, Backer will keep on bouncing up and down in your dock as this happens.
If you want to make this stop, just go into Force Quit by pressing Option, Command, Escape, and force quitting Backer. That will just make the bouncing in the dock stop and get rid of Backer, but it will not get rid of the background screen saver.
This screen saver will keep on running until you log out or until you restart or shut down. If you want to make it stop without having to do any of those, here's a simple command you can type into Terminal to do such a thing.
In Terminal, you type killall
—and I'll put this in the description as well—screen saver engine
. That's just killed the screen saver engine, and that's made my background go back to normal.
