RFS: LLMs for manual back office processes in legacy enterprises

One thing I'd love to see more startups working on is the use of LLMs to automate complex back office processes in large enterprises.

So, for example, in a bank, you might have a customer service team answering loads and loads of queries from customers. People are already working on automating that, but what lots of people don't realize is that then there's a compliance team that's spot checking one in a hundred of these conversations to make sure that things like complaints are handled appropriately or that financial advice isn't given if the agent isn't qualified.

That's done by a massive team of people who are going through reams and reams and reams of text, and it's a really good task for an LLM. So, if you've got expertise or experience in things like retail banking or insurance or healthcare billing, I think those are great areas to go and look for large teams of people doing repetitive, fairly complex work.

I wish more people would work on something like that. So, if you're building something in this space, you should consider applying to Y Combinator.

Find the value of K for which F has a critical point at X = -5. All right, so let’s just remind ourselves what F of X and F prime of X were. They gave it to us at the top. F of X is equal to ( \frac{1}{x^2 - Kx} ) and then F prime of X is equal to all of…

The Science of Curveballs
[Applause] You pitch that! Hey, how did you do that? That was a hard one because, uh, this ball is a little bit magic. It’s got a bit of string glued to the left side of it to make the ball curve to the left. Why is that? And that’s because the air that’…
