Это если делать их не чисто пластиковыми, а перьевыми. Именно это и сделали в США, разместив на корпусе беспилотника с механизмами крылья и голову. То есть, по сути, часть чучела настоящей птицы, превратив таким образом их в таксидермические махолеты.

У махалетов есть преимущество: они гораздо более бесшумны, чем коптеры, и, уж точно, гораздо сильнее похожи на птиц. Вот фазаньи перья, фазаньи голова — и не отличишь от фазана! Вес, форма — все совпадает с птицей.

В планах у инженеров научить такие махолеты планировать и обтянуть их настоящей птичьей кожей с перьями, вместо того чтобы клеить перья на пластик. И птички Т-800 отправятся в свое путешествие...
