Hey guys, this is Maids One. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to simply and easily hide all your files in one convenient hidden folder and use a password to make it so only you can see that hidden folder right on your desktop. Conveniently, there are two ways to get the application or dashboard widget that will do this.

The simplest way is to click the link in the description of this video to download it. If for some reason you don't want to do that or um you're watching this video on some other website, you can just click um under downloads dashboard, which is Secret Folder on our website to download. It'll work the same way if you're downloading it um through um the link in the description of the video.

So right there, you want to click install and click keep. Here it is, right here. Let me just quit out as far. Okay, so here's here it is, Secret Folder, and right here the um the password. Um, so right here the password will um will be um by default, Mac Kids And1, and it will say Mac Kids And1 there. Um, so that's that. Um, so that's it.

So when you type um Mac Kids 101 for the first time, it'll be typed there by default. Click open, your dock will quit, and right here on your desktop will be a file called Hidden Folder or a directory. Right in this hidden folder, you can hide all your stuff. I have a few things like um a dashboard widget, a video, a hidden folder icon, and another folder.

You can put folders in this folder, and when you're done with it, you can either delete it and drag it to your trash. Don't worry, it won't actually get deleted. I know that's kind of confusing. Or to um hide it the correct way, go into your widgets again, type your password um in here and then click hide, and that'll delete the file for you.

You can also just, while it's on your desktop, delete it, empty the trash, and the hidden files will still be there, but the link on your desktop will be gone. Um, another thing people wanted to be able to do, of course, was um change your password from something other than Mac Kids Want.

So um just click this I in the bottom right-hand corner of the application, and um right here um there will be something that says old password. And you want to type your old password and your new password. I'll just make it God and confirm your new password. I'll just make it God, and you can change.

When you change it, it'll say password changed right there, and that means that you've changed your password. Now, when I type God right there and click open, it'll appear. Okay, so uh thank you for watching Mac Kids In A One. Enjoy our um wonderful application and let you hide your files, and um, so um yeah and um goodbye...
