Threats to the U.S system and what we need to do

Would you agree with this? We have the greatest system of government ever since the beginning of time. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights have a lot of safeguards built in. As Churchill said, when it comes down to it, we try everything else, but we eventually do the right thing. The strength of our people, the strength of this country will prevail.

I mean, can we say that here in Davos and not everyone else can? I think absolutely that you can say that, but you also must say: don't take that for granted. Because there are things that are going on now that are threatening that. We see those things, but we've been through… we've been through.

Think the question is, we—who is we? My generation, my parents' generation, and those who went through the war and so on. That was the greatest generation, no doubt. My generation unfortunately got deeply in debt, built in, broke down the infrastructure, had problems with educating the population, have poverty, and so on, and a lot of issues.

We can't work well with each other. So, the question is: the system is a wonder, but now we got the Millennials and Generation X. They're going to be the ones that save. The question is, we— the system is fine, how are we going to behave with each other?
