How much of sales is conscious vs subconscious?

How much of sales is conscious and subconscious? I'm not really sure if there's a measurement. Definitely conscious of what you want to say. If you're not thinking of what you're saying, then you get yourself in trouble. That's usually what they call people who have no filter. They say things when it's not the right timing or in the right place or in the right environment or around the right people.

You know, you have to be sort of conscious. Know your audience. This is so important. You're talking to a buyer or a seller or a friend or a relative. You are going to talk differently to different people, not because you're trying to hide anything. I mean, if you're in the car with your husband or your wife and you're talking to somebody on the phone, a business associate, or even a friend, you're going to talk differently than if you're in a room by yourself with nobody around you.

It's not because you're trying to hide anything; it's just people's personalities. When they talk on the telephone or they're in front of somebody, it's different depending on who is around. Their environment, it's just human nature. And that's people adjusting themselves to the situation. That is sort of subconscious, but it is a little bit more conscious.
