Orthopedic Horseshoe | Diggers

So I'm going along on this nice even ground and I get a great hit. Now there's something there—sounds pretty solid. So I drop down, dig a hole, roll the plug out and finally locate; oh, I got roundness! I just found something awesome. I just pulled up an awesome military butt; you got The Eagle right on the butt. It's a little tiny one, so it might have been off of a cuff link or pocket or something.

These military guys were escorting goods back and forth right here, 28 M Springs. Just the artistic beauty of this just makes me salivate. I love it! I'm like Pavlov's dog; I see this saliva. There is so much history here, but you have everything from Lewis and Clark. The Cavalry was all up and down here in the 1800s. You just never know what's going to come flying out of the ground at you.

[Music] Oh, right there! We go— that sounds awesome. I'm going along; all of a sudden, I get this massive iron grow snarly hit and I'm thinking, you know, this could be anything out here. This could be the greatest iron object the world has ever seen! Ooh, right there—check this sucker out! Look at how weird this is; all of a sudden this old-time horseshoe rolls out, really skinny here, big old fat thing here.

This is probably a horse with a lamp! Came here; they had to specially make him a horseshoe. I found hundreds of horseshoes in my time, but I have never seen a horseshoe that looked as weird as this one. That's just gnarly beautifulness right there! Horses are at stage coach stops; I'm finding hors shoes. I think we're getting close to the stagecoach stock.
