Это сверхмассивные чёрные дыры, окружённые гигантскими акционными дисками и активно излучающими во всех практических диапазонах спектра. Семейство беби квазаров, обнаруженных в этой работе, это промежуточный этап между зародышами и настоящими сверхмассивными дырами.

Но для ранней Вселенной это именно зародыш сверхмассивной чёрной дыры. И действительно, темп звездообразования в районе вот этих беби квазаров очень высокий.
