Сколько существует нечётных чисел больше 239, но меньших чем 2339?

Ну, во-первых, нечётные числа мы знаем, они идут через один, тут всё понятно.

Больше 239, то есть само 239 не участвует. Значит, нам нужно от 241 и до числа меньшего чем 2339, то есть до 2337.

Но некоторые считают, что нужно просто из вот этого числа вычесть вот это и поделить на два. К сожалению, это не работает.

Вот давайте рассмотрим первые 2338 чисел. Они бьются на пары: чётные, нечётные, чётные, нечётные. Значит, нечётность среди них ровно половина: 1.100 нечётных.

А мы должны убрать те нечётные числа, которые идут до 239 включительно. То есть опять же давайте возьмём вот досюда.

Да, первые 2440 чисел, из них ровно 120 нечётных.
