Рыжие тараканы не могут жить вне тепла наших жилищ, но как они вообще попали туда?

В России они появились примерно в середине 18 века. Считалось, что их привезли на обоза русской армии, возвращавшихся с семилетней войны. Противником тогда выступала Пруссия. Вот тараканов и назвали "прусака".

Но и в Европе рыжие тараканы, латинское имя Германика, появились примерно в то же время и хорошенечко расселились. Только через век позже получается, что они явно пришельцы для этих мест обитания.

Ещё тогда, в XVI веке, для рыжего таракана ближайшим родственником называли азиатского таракана, то есть старт его расселения был дан откуда-то из Азии.

Выяснилось, что рыжий и азиатские тараканы похожи на 99,4%. Рыжий таракан появился где-то на территории современной либо Индии, либо Мьянмы, и оттуда начал своё расселение по свету.
