We Got Us a Goat | The Boonies
[Music] You're a little bigger. I put a saddle on you, make this trip a lot easier.
In Onion Creek, Washington, DOC Leverett has successfully bartered for a lamancha bear goat, the kind of renewable food source he needs to sustain his life above the grid.
Genie: "Yeah, we got us a goat! Oh look at her, what was her name?"
DOC: "Maddie. We can take her for a T spin, I guess."
Genie: "Okay, come on Maddie. MADD!"
DOC: "Maddie, you got her?"
Genie: "Yeah, I got her. If she kicks me, I'm going to kick you back."
DOC: "Easy there, Maddie. It's going to take a little bit of practice."
Genie: "Okay, there's a joke here, but I think I'm going to leave it alone."
DOC: "Okay, oh hey there we go, that was a good one. Good girl. Hey, come on, get my boots!"
DOC: "Not going to be able to get much more out of her, I don't think. I got something that I didn't have to pay for 'cause Mother Nature provided for me, and then I picked up the change with what I had in my head. It don't get any better than that. If every deal I made went that way, life would be grand."
Genie: "Try it, it's pretty good."
DOC: "Oh, that's good stuff. Yeah, we got a milk producing lawnmower. Yeah, rock on!"
