А я сегодня хочу рассказать конкретно. Вот именно о космических лучах. На 99% - это тяжёлые частицы. Примерно 1% - это быстрые электроны.

А из вот этих 99 тяжёлых частиц подавляющее большинство - 92% из 99 - это быстрые протоны. Остаток - это ионы и альфа-частицы. Удивительно, что они приходят не только от солнца, но приходят и из глубин космоса.

Во втором случае они могут достигать каких-то абсолютно фантастических энергий. Невероятно больших, в десятки миллионов раз больше, чем самые большие энергии, которые удаётся получить на знаменитом Большом адронном коллайдере.

На довольно большой площади за 100 лет приходит только одна такая частица. Регистрация такой уникальной частицы, одной, перм году, она даже получила название Oh My God particle.
