Creating Your Own Zoom-Market Levels

Hey guys, this is Mad11 with a video on the latest way we've made for you to make custom Zoomify levels.

So, a lot of people have requested of me that I make some way for people to make stuff for the Zoom market. So making levels out of several Liv Ines the same way we do it. Well, I decided, all right, I'll make a Mac app that allows people to basically make a Zumi level pack. Then that'll make it pretty easy; they can just email us a file or something, and we can check it out and put it on the Zoom market.

So basically, you can download this app. It's called Zumy Maker. And basically what it does is you can set up images and set up the rectangle for them. So I've got a couple of images of sodas, and I'm just going to show you a demo creation.

So I just open the app, as you can see, and what you want to do is for every image you create, you click this little plus thing and you enter a name. So I'll create Seven Up first thing, and once you're selected on Seven Up, you can just drag in the image right there and select a rectangle. I'll select it right here.

All right, and I'll add another one. I'll call this Canada Dry. Let's go ahead and drag this in, and I'll select this rectangle right here so you can see the crown of the soda. And I'll do one more; I'll make it Sun-Kissed. All right, and I'll drag in Sun-Kissed.

So as you can see, there are three images. I'll just select this, and basically that's all this app does. You can just create these; it, you know, go ahead and create that, change the size around, all that stuff. And then if you add one like this and let's say you don't want it, you can just click it, click the minus, and it deletes it.

So that's pretty much all this does. So let's say you want to send us the level pack you just made, a great level pack; you want to send it to us. All you have to do is go up to File, Save, or press Command S and save it. I'll call it, um, sodas. I'll save it as a ZOOM P, opens up with our app, and basically, you just email us that file.

Now, if the file is too big, you can obviously use different file-sharing sites and such. So we'll have a link in the description to a couple of file-sharing sites, but basically, all you got to do is email us the level pack, maybe send the description in, send your name so we can put it in the description as the person who made it so you can get credit for your level.

Um, and we'll just add it right to the Zoom market. So yeah, that's pretty much it. Um, another thing is that you might notice, um, if you're a jailbreaker and you've been able to go into the documents and package contents of our app on your iPhone— I don't know how many people have done that— but you'll see that there's actually, um, each level that you download is actually a directory with like a "pist" in it and a bunch of images.

So let's say you want to create one of those. You just want to put it on your jailbroken phone or something. You can just go ahead and click export for Zumy on your desktop, just enter a name. I'll call it sodas; I'll create a directory right there, and it converts all the images to PNG.

Um, and here you'll see it creates a pist for everything, and it's got all the important stuff that it needs to have. So yeah, um, that's pretty much the entire app. It just allows you to create stuff; you can, you know, it does everything. It's a document application, so you can create your own Zoom levels, email them to us, and we'll put them on the Zoom market.

And it's really easy to put levels on the Zoom market for us. We just made a great little GUI app for us to use that actually submits them and puts them directly on the market. So I'll have a link to download this in the description.

Uh, I might post the source code, um, so stay tuned for that. But anyway, uh, thanks for watching, Maads and one, subscribe, and goodbye.
