Мы сегодня начнём с такой небольшой задачки. Представим себе озеро, вот типа того, которое находится за моей спиной, и предположим, что оно зарастает кувшинками. Про это озеро, к сожалению, правда известно, что каждый день кувшинок становится в два раза больше, чем было в предыдущий день.

Кроме того, известно, что 25 июля озеро полностью закрылось кувшинками, а начало оно закрываться, ну скажем, 1 июля. Вопрос: когда озеро будет закрыто кувшинками строго наполовину?

Ну, я надеюсь, что желающие подумали. И далее, конечно, верный ответ – ни в коем случае не в середине вот этого кусочка от первого до двадцать пятого, то есть не 13 июля, а вовсе даже 24.
