I woke up at 4 am for a week💀 (one day was enough 🥵)| Med School Diaries 👩🏻‍⚕️

4m read
·Nov 25, 2024

Let's clear up three things before starting the video. Should you really wake up at 4 a.m. in order to be productive? Absolutely no. Did it make me more productive? Ah, kinda. Should you watch this video? It's totally up to you. So, let's get started.

Left shoulder stretching through the right side of your neck, and I like to bring... Good morning! It's day one. It's currently 4:52. I couldn't sleep last night that much. I slept at 12 p.m. I got only four hours of sleep. I don't know how I'll function today. I'm very tired and sleepy and sluggish, but I did my morning yoga and meditation. I'll have a breakfast, make myself a cup of coffee, and then start studying. We'll see how this day goes. So, let's get started.

So, it's currently 6:20 p.m., and I'm very sleepy. I'm not functioning well. I did a workout, though. I think I'll be studying for about one to two hours and then go to bed because I'm so sleepy. I don't know if you can tell from my eyes, but I'm dying.

Okay, so day two. I woke up today at 4:00 a.m., and then I thought, let me close my eyes just for a minute. And when I realized, it was 4:30. Like... but at least I woke up at 4-ish. I mean, it could be 6, 5, or 7. Just thinking positive about it. I am going to start studying. I think I will be filming a study with me video, and I will upload it later on.

Hi! It's currently 4:40 p.m. I only managed to study two hours today—not much, because I forgot to do yoga in my morning routine. I realized a huge difference between the days I did yoga at the beginning of the day and the days that I didn't. It really clears up my mind and vision, and it really motivates me during the day. Not only the motivation, but it really sets you in that mood, and it's really easier to get started on the tasks. So, tomorrow I will do yoga for my morning routine, and also meditation as well. I will go shower, get a shower, come back, study for about two to three hours, and then I'll go to sleep.

We're gonna lower all the way down, cobra pose. Roll your shoulders back, keep your elbows bent.

Wow!

It's currently 5 a.m., and I'm so puffy. I just woke up. I really don't remember if I put a timer yesterday on, or I snoozed it today. I really don't remember anything, but I woke up from the sound of the birds, and I don't know... I don't really remember, but I'm glad that I at least woke up at 5 a.m. But yeah, let's get started today.

Okay, so it's currently 5:54 a.m. I did my skincare, I made myself a breakfast, and I'm going to make myself a cup of Turkish coffee. Let me show you the Turkish coffee machine.

Okay, this is the Turkish coffee machine that I have in my room. Like, you can make coffee in five minutes, and then you pour it into your cup, which I really love. I think I really managed my time perfectly. I mean, even though I was waking up at 4:00 a.m., I usually would start studying at 5:30, and I woke up at like 5:05, 5:10 a.m. ish, and I managed all of these things in 36 minutes. I think it's perfect.

It's currently 3-ish p.m. I want to study for about... actually 8 hours, but then it would be too late. I think I will be sitting for about five hours and then sleep.

[Music]

Okay, so this is the fifth day of the challenge. I'm kind of starting to get used to this challenge and also starting to love this challenge as well. I think I will be continuing to wake up at 4:00 a.m. because I really love waking up early.

[Music]

Last shoot of day five is currently 8 p.m. I don't know if you can see, so bye for now.

Oh!

[Music]

Okay, good morning! So, it's the sixth day of the challenge. It's currently 6 a.m. I'm going to start studying. I will be studying until 10 a.m.—so, four hours. Vlog afterwards, I will be taking about two and a half hours of a lunch break. I will go for a run, come back, shower, eat lunch, chill a bit, do some yoga, and start studying. So, let's get started studying. I'll be having some pomegranates, and I also made myself a cup of coffee. I'll be having that. I'm feeling very energetic; feeling good! Let's get started studying.

Okay, so end of the day six. I'm going for sleep now. Good night!

Okay, so last day of the challenge. I just woke up. I'm feeling pretty tired and sleepy, but today has to be a super, super productive day. I was in a very bad condition mentally and physically yesterday, but I feel much better today because I got my sleep. So, let's start the day.

Okay, so today I will meet my friends at a park, so I am leaving the house in 10 minutes. I'm ready. I did my makeup, I did my hair, I changed my clothes. I feel very good! Let's go.

Okay, so this was the last day of the challenge. I'm glad that it's finished. Tomorrow I will sleep until 7 or 8 a.m. so that I get a good sleep. It's currently 8 p.m., so yeah, this week was a good week. I mean, waking up at 4:00 a.m. is easy; sleeping at 8 p.m. is very hard because the whole world is awake and you're going to sleep. I kind of felt like isolated during this week. I cannot say that this week was very productive compared to the other week because I kind of felt... um... sleepy. So, I think the number one priority is not waking up early but getting good sleep, in my opinion.

So, yeah, bye!
