New Macheads101 Application Coming Soon To App Store

Hey guys, this is Matt Kids and One. Today, I'm going to be showing you the beta for the new Mac 801 software for the iPhone.

So this beta will consist of several great features. The first one, and by the time it's on the App Store, it won't be a beta anymore, will be that it can, of course, download the Mac and 01 news and do everything in your original Mac Kids and One app did, along with accessing our account system.

It does the full rich features of our account system in a great iPhone user interface. To make it even better, I'm making it completely open source and free to everyone. This is the hardest app I've ever made before, and I spent much time working on it.

So hopefully now you'll get it because it's free and it's open source. So here we go! Here's my Xcode. As you can see, this is a lot of code, a lot of files and stuff. I obviously worked very hard on it.

I'm just gonna build it for my simulator 2.0 and run it. Like I showed, there it works on 2.0 and later, and works on any device or simulator. So I'll just click accounts, and as you can see right here is our news online and about.

I'm going to keep these square and circle icons so when you click accounts, you can log in with your Mac Kids and One username and password. Now, like I pointed out, whenever you type a password, it shows you the letter you're typing.

So I'm going to edit over that using editing. You can also create an account right here. So I'll just right here's the create an account. It has our little terms and conditions things, so I'll log in because my Kids and One username is our password.

So there we go! Here's the main screen. You can turn file sharing off and on with a flick of a switch. It tells you your username in case you forget.

So here's my text documents, and as you can see, I can just click refresh to refresh one. I can click new to create one. Click the little arrow next to it that adds the properties and rename it "Test 101" and revert changes back to the name before you started editing.

So now it's called "this." I'll just click the main thing, and here we go! I can click edit to edit it. This is a text doc, save, and back.

So now if I click this, here it is! Also, if I click edit and I make a change I don't want, I don't have to sit through it saving; I just have to click cancel. So that's that!

You can also delete one by clicking the information and clicking delete. So I'll close this. Next is messages. Here are all my messages. If you have a message from a person with a short username or something, they'll show in big font, and all the messages from people with longer usernames will show in a smaller font.

You can see the time they sent it. So here's an email. I can just click it, and here's his message. I can click the trash to delete. Here's a message from this guy, and you can click compose.

So I'm going to write myself a message. There we go! Now click send, and so it's sent. Now I'll refresh my messages. I have another one from me. Okay, so I'll click delete, and it'll go away.

So that's messages. The next one is maybe the feature that I worked on for the least time, and I intend on improving greatly in the next version uploaded.

So you can only upload stuff from your computer right now. When you click this plus, it gives you an error. Here we go! I can click on any file; it'll show me the file. This is a large file, so it's going to take a long time.

So here we go! So that's that! You can also refresh in case you're sharing with other people. I'm going to make the add button. If you're on an iPhone, it'll let you take a picture or select from your photo library.

This is our rich accounts feature in our Mac Kids in One application. I will also add a button if you log into the main screen where you will be able to change your password, but that is not yet available.

Another thing is that right now it is a beta, and I invite anyone who downloads the source code to check it out, make it better, and send it to us. I am gonna copyright this and patent it, so you won't be able to redistribute it on anything legal.

You might be able to put it on Cydia, but not on the App Store. So this is the great MacKidsOne application. It's very rich in user interface, and it has a great interaction with our Mac Kids and One accounts.

I really feel it brings out the joys and wonders of the iPhone SDK. So check out this app on the App Store. I'll make a video when it's actually up, and I will put the source code on my KidsOn1.com source page in a few days when I have totally completed it and it is no longer a beta.

So this is the cool Machines in One app. I don't know if I'll be coming out with one that does similar stuff for the Mac, but I might!

So this is it. There might be a few extra features I had in version 2.1 since this is version 2. Thanks for watching Mac Kids and One! Please subscribe if you like this video, if you want us to keep on making these great open source free applications, and give off.
