Один из бортовых компьютеров "Вояджера", система полетных данных, ответственная за упаковку инженерной и научной информации перед отправкой её на Землю, забой. Проблема была в одном из чипов, в котором содержалась часть памяти системы полётных данных. Из-за этого передаваемые данные становились бесполезными.

Чип дистанционно починить, к сожалению, нельзя. Так-то "Вояджер" находится в межзвёздном пространстве, за 24 млрд километров от нас. А вот перенести участок кода в другую локацию можно, точнее, в несколько локаций, потому что пространства для хранения всего участка кода целиком в одном месте больше не осталось.

Это и сделали, удостоверившись, что весь код работает как единое целое. И 20 апреля впервые за 5 месяцев была наконец получена телеметрия. Вскоре восстановят и передачу научных данных, после того как перенесут соответствующие оставшиеся участки кода.
