Значит, крысы умеют хихикать в ультразвуковом диапазоне. Ничего не слышно без декодера крысиного хихиканья, и они реагируют логичным образом: щекочешь их - они хихикают, а затем приходят за добавкой, проявляя комплексы действий.

И только если записать звук в нужной чистоте, когда они пищат и хихикают, и включить затем запись, другие крысы услышат и придут с проверкой. Потому что слуховой стимул в данном случае - хихиканье крысы - вызывает у других особей реакцию: вроде «пойдем, посмотрим, где там вечеринка».
