И построили прототип коптера, который использует п для подзарядки. В целом это обычный дрон с автопилотом и одноплатник Raspberry Pi. Только на верхней его части расположен механизм захвата, способный прицепиться к проводу. Помогают в этом направляющие, сглаживающие неточности позиционирования. Также есть дополнительные антенны навигации, которые помогают обходить наводки от электрического тока, радар и обычные камеры.

Силы захвата хватает, чтобы удерживать выключенный дрон на весу. Тор тока позволяет запустить процесс зарядки. Ток в 100 А заряжает коптер почти за 6 часов, а вот в 1.000 А — уже за 28 минут. Во время полёта, при падении напряжения ниже определённого уровня, дрон начинает автономно искать возможности для зарядки.

В целом, это вполне рабочая схема. Ну а прототип ещё доработать в плане уменьшения массы и повышения надёжности. Для сельскохозяйственных работ и мониторинга — самое то.
