5 (tech) items that boosted my productivity

Hi guys, it's me Dudi. Today we're gonna talk about five tech items that boosted my productivity. You don't need to buy all of them in order to increase your productivity, but they're great tools that I use for a long period of time and I really enjoyed. So let's get started.

Firstly, let's start with this IKEA Unix M80 Puri cats keyboard. These are mechanical keyboards and they have a cherry blue switch and it sounds like this. They have backlight option if you press FN and home keys. There are different types of backlights and you can switch between them and you can have fun with them. It comes in three different colors.

I was using the F96 IQ Unix keyboard but then they sent me this M81 and I really like this one. I love the F96 one as well. I like this one as well. They have both pros and cons. When it comes to the pros of this one, F96 is bigger and it has like these number section, which is just like too long and I want to like put my mouse right here, not here. Therefore, it just like makes the distance between my keyboard and my mouse. But when it comes to M80, it doesn't have that.

Another thing that I really like is that the design of this one. It looks really cool, really cute. I love cats and it just like looks amazing. It comes in three different colors, so this one is the pink one, we have this yellow one, and then we have this blue one. When the typing experience is good and when the aesthetics is good, you know, at least when it comes to me, I'm a basic. I when I see that my desk setup is like clean and aesthetic, I am more likely to just sit in front of my computer and type.

Since I type quite a lot in a day because, you know, I'm a YouTuber, uni student, I need to write a lot of things. When the typing experience is good and when the aesthetics is good, I just want to sit there and type something. Because I'm a cat lover, this one is just like a big hit for me. I'm like, "Oh, this is so good." I know not everybody can afford dollars and dollars for a mechanical keyboard, but this is just an option that you can consider if you want to buy yourself something fancy, cute, and also really high quality.

Okay, so the next one that I really enjoy these days is this Panasonic eye mask. This is an electronic eye mask which warms up your eye area. I spend like hours and hours and hours in front of the computer and this Panasonic electronic eye mask comes really handy. It warms up the eye area and when you put this eye mask on, it takes a tiredness. I also use it before my makeup when I couldn't get my sleep well because usually during that time my eye area is really red and it takes the redness, it takes the tiredness.

If you buy one of those, I'll get like a small percentage. But yeah, I really recommend this. I love this and also this is like the compact version. They also have more fancier versions of these which are much more expensive, but I like this compact one. I think this is enough.

You just like can carry to your office, your school, wherever, and you can put this and simply during your breaks or something you can rest your eyes and refresh. If you're spending a lot of time in front of the computer, consider buying this.

So another thing that I truly recommend is that getting high quality noise cancelling headphones. This is the Sony WH-1000XM2. I don't know why the heck Sony gives like this weird names to them, just like name them Sony headphones or like Sony pro headphones. I don't really understand Sony, but anyways, I'm not buying Sony because I'm a nationalist or something. I just like Sony headphones.

I also have the AirPods Pro, but I feel like when it comes to noise cancelling and when it comes to sound quality, Sony WH series are pretty good. Both of the earphones have pros and cons. AirPods Pro is really easy to carry because it's just like this tiny and also it connects to your Apple products faster. I use iPad, Apple Watch, iPhone, and MacBook. Connection speed is really important to me.

Also, whenever you are working out, AirPods Pro is a great option. But we switched our headphones with my brother. I gave this headphone to my brother a year ago or something. I used to use this when I was in high school. When I switched back to this one, I remembered why I love this headphone so much. The sound quality, the sound experience with this headphone is so good that I wasn't listening to music when I had AirPods Pro. I was only listening to audiobooks, but when I got this headphone back, I remembered why I like to listen to rap so much.

The sound quality and also the noise cancellation is so good in this, so if you're like trying to study in a noisy environment, you can just like put them on and study. This has like an active noise cancelling option which literally understands the environment that you're in and optimizes the noise cancellation according to that, which is like super cool.

If you're like walking outside and if it's too loud, it recognizes that and it just like noise stencils. It makes noise cancellation really high and if you're in a quiet environment, it makes noise cancellation low because you don't need that like high noise cancellation. Sometimes using noise cancellation in like a very high setting can make you really tired, so it's just that. I really, really, really enjoy this headphone. I like this so much.

Another thing that I really like about these headphones is that it has like a touch panel here so you can volume up the music, volume down and you can skip to the next track or you can listen to the previous track. I love this headphone so much and it just like fits your head shape really well, at least to mine. AirPods Pro, the shape of it, it's not really suitable for my earlobes.

When it comes to the ear in earphone types, it's hard to find an ear type that really fits into your ear, but these headphones really like suit my head shape and I truly love them. Also, the cushions of these are so high quality, so soft that I want to buy a sofa made with this cushion. This is so good. This is like two models older than the current, like the newest one, but it still works. It's a really good headphone. I like the aesthetics of this, I like the color of this, I just like every single of this.

The only thing that I don't like about these headphones is that when you use them during the summer, it's just freaking hot because of these cushions and stuff, so I don't use it during summer. Also, whenever working out or you know going for a run, these are not really handy. But if you're looking for something that's going to boost your productivity, then this is a great option. But remember, if you're using a lot of Apple products, Bluetooth connection is not that good.

Also, another thing when it comes to AirPods Pro and Sony WH series or like overhead headphones is that when you use AirPods Pro, people don't notice it and people talk to you. But when you have this like huge headphone, it just basically means that I'm currently in my zone, don't talk to me. I feel it's really important. Not a lot of people talk about this, but whenever I put these on, whenever I'm like studying, working, whatever I'm doing, nobody like talks to me and it's good.

But when you have like AirPods and stuff, friends will come to you and talk to you or like strangers and stuff. I just like this one, I like this one when I want to isolate myself, when I want to feel the music, when I want to feel the voice of whatever I'm listening to. These are really handy, I like this one.

Now let's talk about Kindle. This one is the Kindle Paperwhite and this one is the Kindle Oasis. This one is really fancy. This costs more than like 300 or something. My brother gave me it for a birthday gift and I love this. I also got this strap from Amazon which you can use like this. This has like back and forth buttons, so let's say you are reading a book, you can go forward and backward like this.

It comes really handy because you can use your other hand to, I don't know, grab a mug or something and you can read a book in just one hand and I think this is really good. So when it comes to Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Paperwhite is obviously much, much more affordable compared to the Kindle Oasis one. But the problem that I have with the Kindle Paperwhite is that the reaction speed is really low and it annoys me when I want to like turn the pages. It's just like really slow, it's like turning and turning.

Also, I read quite a lot of Japanese books and English books as well and if there is some sort of a kanji that I couldn't read in Japanese, I click it and I just like look to the meaning and how we read it. You know, I didn't grow up in Japan, so I'm not really good at that kanji. But with Kindle, it makes it really handy because you can just like press it and it says the meaning and how you read the kanji and stuff.

But when you do it with the Kindle Paperwhite, since this is really, really, really slow, it makes me annoyed. After a while, I realized that I can't use this anymore because it makes me so annoyed. I was using books from my iPad, but it made my eyes really, really tired.

Kindle Paperwhite, or at least all of the Kindles, looks like a book, so it doesn't hurt your eyes at all. You can read for multiple hours and your eyes won't get tired. If you get used to it or if you are a patient person, maybe this can work out, but I'm not at all. I want from my tech products to be fast as possible and the reaction speed of this was annoying me so much.

I think this is an amazing birthday gift because if you have like this good device, it makes you read more because you know that somebody spent 300 on this and you're like, "I've had to use this so that that 300 worth something." It is really designed for human hand to hold this for longer hours and it doesn't make you tired.

This is also really thin and also the screen size is bigger compared to the Kindle Paperwhite one. I really like reading mangas and different books in this one. The bigger screen is good, it's not too big, it's not too small, it's just like in a perfect size. When you add this band to here, you can read for multiple hours and forget about the world.

You can play some nice music on this headphone and these two just come with technology. When it comes to things that you're going to use every single day, I think it's great to invest a little bit and buy something high quality and use it for multiple years rather than like every single year buying some sort of a new gadget, in my opinion at least.

The next item is this Logitech MX Ergo mouse. As I said, I'm a YouTuber, uni student. That means I spend a lot of time in front of computer, in front of my iPad, whatever. I use a lot of mice and I also do a lot of editing. After a while, my ankle started to hurt and there was a possibility of me becoming a surgeon. I don't think that I'll become a surgeon; I'll probably choose like psychiatry.

But anyways, my ankles are really important because when you hurt your ankles, there is a possibility of you getting carpal tunnel syndrome, which is a horrible thing that can happen to your surgeons. So in order to protect my ankles, I decided to invest in something ergonomic that doesn't hurt my angles. I edit my videos like six or seven hours with this mouse and it doesn't hurt my angles at all. It's just like so good. You have like two different angle options with this mouse which you can switch, and also the tracking ball of here is really handy because when you're editing, you scroll, you click a lot, and you don't need to move your angle.

You can place this to somewhere else and you can just randomly scroll and randomly do things. It also has shortcuts that I don't use that I probably should use. This is again also something a little fancy, a little expensive, but I think it's totally worth to invest in a good mouse and use it. I watch some people's videos and they don't use a mouse anymore; they like do everything in their keyboard. I don't know, I didn't come to that level yet, but I really love my mouse and I use it all the time when I'm editing and this is a very, very good one.

I also use that mouse with this ankle pad, so basically whenever I'm using my mouse, I put my mouse to here and I can use my mouse like this and my ankle will rest. Another great thing about this MX Ergo mouse is that it doesn't take up space. If you're studying at a cafe or if you're like studying on a train or something, you can just like simply put it on your lap or to your desk if you have one and since you don't have to move, you don't need space.

So it's always great to like put it into your bag and carry it wherever and use a good, good mouse. I move it quite a lot and, you know, I travel quite a lot as well, so on planes, on trains, on buses, and wherever, it's really good to use. It's just like compact, high quality, doesn't hurt your ankles, and also looks super, super cool.

These are my recommendations for tech. I know they're expensive; you don't need to buy all of them in order to be more productive, in order to boost your productivity.
