Камень гепатит оказался в этом камне. Прежде всего, провели спектральные анализ веществ, которые находятся в этом камне, и выяснили, что в первую очередь это безусловно камень внеземного происхождения.

Это довольно легко определяется по соотношению изотопов некоторых веществ. В частности, в этом камне отношение аргона-40 к аргону-36 оказалось точно не земным. Ни одно земное вещество не имеет такого значения изотопа.

Когда гепатит более подробно исследовался с помощью более тонких спектроскопических методов, выяснилось, что химический состав этого камня вообще не похож ни на что, что мы знаем не только на Земле, но и в космосе.
