То что касается ног, если при резанной, шаг должен быть такой, как агрессивный, который разгонит мяч и ракетку. То при укороченном, шаг должен быть такой амортизирующий.

Мне ещё нравится такое выражение: как будто ты наступил в какое-то болото или в забучье пески. То есть, когда ты делаешь шаг, который как бы проваливает ту ногу, на которую ты идёшь.

То есть, шаг, который смягчает мяч. Никакой прямой связи с тем, что вы делаете шаг и мяч будет двигаться длиннее, не существует. Будет, если вы делаете правильное касание с мячом.

Можно легко это проверить: коснуться и посмотреть, что мяч всё равно не будет двигаться вперёд. Если вы касаетесь правильно, мяч будет на месте, он не будет двигаться.
