One of my most memorable quickest deals was actually getting a phone call from somebody saying he wanted to buy a certain airplane. I told him that the airplane was really just ready to be under the contract. He said he wanted to buy something immediately; he was ready to pay cash. He actually came from South Pacific.

I told him if he wanted to buy this airplane, he'd actually have to get on an airplane the next day to fly here to London, which he actually did. And this was a principal, not just somebody he sent on his own; he flew all the way here to London. We got in the airplane, we flew to France to actually go speak with the owner of the airplane. We cut a deal right there.

We flew back to London, and the next two days we actually negotiated the contract. We went and checked out the engines and a couple of things, and on the sixth day he signed the purchase agreement and sent the money. We closed on the deal, and he flew the airplane back to the South Pacific. It was the fastest deal I've ever done.

That's what you can really accomplish when you have a serious buyer and a serious seller. It was the most enjoyable because it was quick; it had a few little bumps, but they got pushed aside very quickly. But it's the fast...
