Если между Землёй и пульсаром будет встревать какое-то гравитационное поле, то мы заметим изменения в тайминге, которые будут сбиваться из-за гравитационной ряби на ткани пространства-времени. Понадобились годы накопления данных, чтобы определить эту рябь.

Но этим летом целых пять независимых команд объявили о том, что наблюдение за суммарно 6-7 пульсарами Млечного Пути помогли обнаружить шум, производимый вращающимися сверхмассивными чёрными дырами.
