В эксперименте участвовали обычные капли обычной воды, падающие с 25 см на наклонную пластину из тефлона, помещённую на алюминиевую подложку, служащую одним из электродов, а также имеющую внизу металлическую полоску, служащую вторым электродом.

Низкая толщина двойного электрического слоя, высокая скорость скольжения капли по тефлону и большая площадь растекания капель стали залогом высокого искрового потенциала напряжения. При такой генерации хватило на то, чтобы провести электролиз воды на этом импульсном источнике, получив таким образом водород и кислород. Воистину, энергии вокруг нас просто море.
