Применение зависимости стали Фишера можно теперь составлять пространственные трёхмерные карты галактик и видеть структуры этого дела.

И вот этот самый Талли, хотел сказать старичок Талли, но я не могу так его фамильярно называть, поскольку это действующий знаменитый и до сих пор активно работающий учёный, хотя ему уже 80 лет.

Он как раз занимается вот этой проблемой. Между прочим, именно он открыл Ланиakeю. Вы знаете, что это такое? Сверхскопление галактик, в котором находится и наш Млечный Путь, и наша местная группа.

Так вот, работа, о которой хочу сейчас рассказать, это именно работа восьмидесятилетнего Талли с сотрудниками, который сделал, по-моему, сногсшибательное положение и скорости примерно 60 000 галактик, компилировать.
