How to sell a private jet!
Two planes, one locally in Europe and the other one abroad. I think if you just get the Goh-ing 650, if you take a 1-hour trip somewhere around Europe, it's no big deal.
"650, exactly what I was thinking!"
"One with the bedroom in the back?"
"Yeah, yeah, they have one with the fixed bed. You don't see that many, but they do. You can get one, any one you want. Change to have the fixed bed in the back. Expensive, but you can do it."
"Do they have showers in the back?"
"Very few. Out of 500 that are made, there might have been 10 that had showers. I see the option. When you buy a brand new, we'd have to find one that had a shower in it."
"What’s the time frame needed once we find the specific airplane?"
"The process to do the letter of intent and negotiations of a purchase agreement, the inspection usually takes 6 to 8 weeks."
Okay, this was a client who contacted us. He wasn't sure what kind of an aircraft he wanted. He wanted something very long range, probably a 12-hour airplane. It could have been a Boeing, an Airbus, Gulfstream, and Global—a longer range with fewer people.
"He decided to come up with a Gulfstream G650 as his choice, and now he's going to engage us in a mandate. Then we'll go out and find the aircraft."
