Our Prayers Are With You, Boo | Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks
[Music]
All right, man, we'll give a prayer this morning. Everybody needs it, and we're going to do it. Lord, we'll come for you this morning headed out here to the east.
I want to thank you for that sunshine. Well, we're looking at our morning star, the one that we're blessed to look at. We thank you for this ocean that we all love so much. I want to thank you for each and every boat coming out here this morning. We want you to keep them safe.
We're pretty die-hard about making sure that there is a prayer said over the radio in the morning, trying to acknowledge where it all comes from. Lord, I want you to bless everybody with a catch. We're just workers, that's all we are. We do better when we can just put our head down and grind.
When Britain makes that morning prayer for the whole fleet, you can't help but get a little bit choked up. That's definitely something I don't see back home in Gloucester.
Watch us as we go in this evening. Watch those loved ones that we have back on the beach. Keep them all safe. Watch out for them till we can gather back together and put our arms around them.
Does anybody got anything particular they want to lift up this morning? Shout it out! You know we're always thinking about Boo, always thinking about baby girl. Oh Boo, my family's nickname for my daughter Ginger is Boo. Boo was diagnosed November 23rd with Hodgkin's lymphoma, and she's going through chemo right now while we're fishing.
Very hard on her, very hard on us. I ask for peace for my daughter. I know for Britain, to get out of bed in the morning, get dressed, and leave that house and leave his daughter behind has got to be some of the hardest stuff he's ever had to do in his life thus far.
Thanking for how things have gone, I can only imagine how hard it is to go through something like that. But they're fighting it; they're not giving up, and hopefully, things will improve for them. We wish them all the best, that's for sure.
Had a hard row; that road is not over. Of course, chemo, it would kill me. She just kind of grits her teeth and bears it. She has no fear; you know ultimately the healing is in God's hands, and I need to go to work.
We ask these and all things in Christ's holy, precious name, the sweet name of Jesus. Amen.
Being productive right now with the bills that are going to be coming is very, very important. You know fishing used to be everything, but my priorities have shifted this year, and I think my priorities have gotten where my priorities need to be. Just recognizing how precious life is, that's the important stuff. That's the great stuff.
