My name is Collective. The noun for hippo is a pod of hippo. We've invited 10 local teachers from Beta Primary School to demystify a lot of those misconceptions that animals and wildlife can be an additive to their experience. Many of them are from urbanized areas or areas that don't have any wildlife at all. For them to be better connected with their students, they need to understand nature and how that can be connected with the syllabus in the classroom.

Sorry! Sorry!

Ladies, I didn't grow up around this kind of animals. If you see an elephant, how that's SCH? What do you do when you go out to other communities? You have to adapt to their way of living. We're leaving the school and we're about to go on a 2-hour nature walk. We’ll be talking about everything that we see, from trees to birds to grasses. We have to make sure that we improve the system by educating our surroundings, which is us, human beings, and understanding about the nature.

Maybe lessons that these teachers are challenged in teaching and maybe nature can be that solution. This whole system here is the Delta. We are on the side of the Delta where the Delta starts. Most of the islands we have are made by Tate mount with ultimate mount; there will be no island.

We must keep our eyes on the ground so that we see other tracks which are not similar to ours. This is the—this is an old truck’s elephant tracks. If it wasn't for the partnership between National Geographic and bears, we wouldn't be able to give these teachers this experience to learn differently and to connect with nature.

That one, oh, he’s still young. It makes them feel seen when a teacher recognizes where they come from. It’s definitely going to change the way they interact with their students on Monday.

Hello! Hello, teacher! Where are we?

This [Music] is here something that allows these teachers to see these kids beyond just the [Applause] books. By creating this opportunity for them to interact, we're hoping that we'll be able to keep teachers in these areas to inspire the next generation.
