How I started selling private jets!

People always ask me all the time, "How did you get started selling private jets?" I used to work in this nightclub restaurant almost every night, and this one gentleman who used to come in had a jet on his tie pin. I would ask him, "Why would you have a jet on your tie?" He said, "I sold jets."

"Really? You sell jets? That's amazing!" He used to get drunk every once in a while, and he would just show off his commission checks. Again, in the old days, when he used to have paychecks, he would show off all this money he was making selling airplanes.

I got a little bit jealous of it, and I insisted that he would introduce me to his boss. I wanted to come and learn how to sell jets. So, I met his boss. I sat there for two hours, trying to convince him to hire me to learn how to sell jets. Eventually, I finally convinced him to do that by telling him I was going to work for free.

I would do it until I learned how to sell an airplane. Then, I got a job as a waiter at nighttime so I could pay all my bills while I was working for free in the daytime. Over time, about eight or nine months later, I sold my first airplane, which was another whole story on its own. But that's how I originally got started selling.
