Первый нейросетевой инструмент для создания полностью искусственных систем для редактирования генома на основе CRISPR.

C систему для создания систем редактирования генома назвали OpenCRISPR. Она формирует модели белковых комплексов, схожие с CRISPR-C9 и гидами РНК. По сути, всё как обычно, но ключ как раз в частичной схожести белковых комплексов с CRISPR-C, а точнее, в отличиях.

Система была обучена на огромных выборках биологических данных и теперь она может генерировать миллионы совершенно разных крисп-подобных белков, которые не встречаются в природе и могут дополнять своими свойствами существующие системы редактирования генома.

Большая часть генерируемых систем совпадает с природными всего процентов на 50, остальное - это полезная галлюцинация нейросетей, позволяющая подобрать свой комплекс белков под каждую отдельную задачу.

Практическое применение этого метода тоже уже случилось, причём на человеческих клетках.
