Unboxing the Apple TV

Hey guys, this is M kids1, and today I'm going to be unboxing the Apple TV.

So, uh, this review is a couple, uh, uh, weeks late, but, uh, it's finally here. So I'm going to be unboxing it, and in a future video I might be jailbreaking it, making apps for it, all that stuff.

So I'll just give you a look around the box. Um, on the front, you have, uh, like, it says stuff about the Wi-Fi, stuff about the, uh, the device. On the top, you have the picture of the Apple TV. On the bottom, I guess, of the box, you have the whatever you call those, uh, and a bunch of small information.

On the side, you have an Apple logo. This side, you have nothing. Back to the information side, and on the back, you have a little thing that said, that's like a picture of a TV. It's got the price and everything.

So I'll just turn it back over. It's very small, about the size of my hand. Here's an iPhone compared to it; pretty much same size, and that's just the box. It's probably smaller inside.

So let's just get to opening up the box. Uh, I'm going to go ahead and use a pen here to get this plastic, um, around the sides. It's actually, um, yeah, all right, got that open, and they'll peel off the plastic.

All right, let's get this plastic off. So there's the box; it has the plastic. Let's go ahead and figure out how to open this. I guess the sides pull out? No, how does this open? Uh, this is a covering, and it opens up like this.

All right, and there you have the TV itself. This is the Apple TV, full size, full size of the box. So I'll just get that out of there. Here it is, Apple TV. Can't tell if you can see it with the lighting.

Um, under it, as you can see, there's an Apple remote that comes free with it. Um, I don't know; I don't think this is compatible with your computer because is it the same Apple remote? It's exactly the same Apple remote that came with my computer. So I can just open up that little plastic here.

Okay, so we got the Apple remote right there. Okay, let's lift up this part. This is what was covering some cables. Got your, I guess this is the power cable. So this end goes into your wall; this goes into the TV.

Here we go, and at the bottom of the box is a little, um, user’s guide right there. It says TV. There's the user's guide. All right, so now just to review what was in the box: you had this thing, which is the covering of the box. You have the power cable, you have the user's guide, a free Apple remote, and the Apple TV itself.

TV is very small, uh, smaller than the box, very thin, very small, uh, not that heavy. It's actually lighter than the ice cube, um, believe it or not—it's quite light.

All right, so anyway, thanks for watching, mac1. Subscribe, and goodbye!
