How To Get Hired By Elon Musk With NO College Degree

I started programming like as a way to not be homeless. It was between programming, video editing, and psychology. Just went programming 'cause it's easier to learn online.

How do you learn online? Harvard puts their computer science courses online. You don't need to go to Harvard; you can just like look at the Harvard class online. It's crazy! YouTube's like the best, dude! You can go on there and there's like a 100-part series of just this random guy in India doing a full course on Java or C or Python, and it's all good quality stuff— the same stuff you learn in college.

Did you actually end up getting a job in that? After high school? Yeah, I worked for the government of Hawaii.

Do they not check that like you went through like a program or anything? They do care a lot less now because they know that you can just learn online. There's like a lot of people at like SpaceX and Tesla— especially the fan companies— don't give a sh if you've been to college for programming. They just want to know what you can do and like see your portfolio. But like, it doesn't matter how you know how to do it; you just know how to do it.
