Adorable Bear Cubs Crash Campsite | Expedition Raw

·Nov 11, 2024

So I just came around the corner, found this female on the beach here, and I thought I recognized her. She's one of the mothers as having cubs. So I was looking for the cubs all up in the forest here, and then all of a sudden I was like, "Ah, there they are!" They're right on this diagonal log.

[Music]

Here, the bottom one has obviously got an itch, 'cause he keeps grabbing a branch and then going. That is amazing! These cubs have got to be brilliant climbers. That's how the female defends them from male bears that want to kill them. They'll send the cubs up a tree, and the cubs can climb so high and really, really [Music] fast. Their safe place is up a tree.

We're just about to go to sleep, and Becca heard some crashing and said, "Do you hear that bear?" Then I heard a noise that I've heard many times before, and it's the noise that the mother makes to her cubs. So I immediately knew that there were cubs. We decided to get out of the tent to find out that the tree literally 2 ft from the front door of the tent had two bear cubs up it.

Okay, let's just back up so they can come down. Okay, sorry guys, do that. Sorry guys, we're going to get out of the way, and you can go back to M. Okay, sorry, head torches down. Don't mind us!

Pretty amazing experience and another reminder how much of a wild place this is. Very cool! So there's the bear cub who decided to climb a tree, and here is our tent, and mom's coming to get them.

Okay, there we go, both. Or is there still one up there? No, there's still one coming up.

Okay, down you go, just go down the tree. Come on, all the way down. Good, there you go, get on! That's one angry little bear! Come on, how funny is that? Of all the trees!

Okay, bye-bye! One of our team members launches a drone, and all of a sudden, the bear starts to charge. Allan runs out and grabs the drone like that's important at this point.
