А конкретно юную особь горгозавра, почившего в бозе в возрасте около 6 лет, длина туловища составила 4 м, вес при этом составлял около 300 кг. Тут вот что интересно: что тираннозавры, ды которые в целом довольно-таки сильно отличались между собой по размерам, в целом следовали примерно вот такому пути: лет до 10-14 они росли довольно медленно.

Ну и хорошо, если добирались там в среднем до полутора тонн, а потом, буквально за 4-5 лет, они набирали чуть ли не по тонне в год. Матери и мужай, и превращаясь в известных по фильмам монстров. Поэтому наша особь — это ещё даже не подросток, а скорее ребёнок младшего школьного возраста.

Относительно небольшое существо, довольно хрупкое, которое от взрослого динозавра отличается многим, даже строением зубов. Так что дети и взрослые тираннозавры — это две большие разницы. Но самое интересное про нашу исследуемую особь: то что внутри нее были обнаружены останки ещё двух.
