A trick that always works...

This is a self-working card trick I learned from Ash Marlo 52 on Instagram. In this video I'm going to show you how to do the trick.

In today's other video, I explain why it always works. Have someone deal out four piles of four cards each, and then have them pick one of those piles. Let's say they pick this first one.

Have them look at the cards in that pile and choose one that they really like. Ah, how about the five of Spades? Boron, perfect! Now have them take this pile and mix it up however they want, and then have them place it on top of any one of the piles. I'd say right there.

Then have them take two other piles, mix them up, make them all messy, and throw them on top. Next, have them take all of these cards and deal them out face up into four piles of four cards each while looking for their card.

We're looking for that five of Spades. Boron, where is it? Looking for it, looking for it, and up there it is! Okay, once they're done doing this, have them take the pile that contains their card, get rid of the rest, and then deal these cards down left to right.

Now you come back into the room and you say, "I know which one is yours." Boom! It's this one; it's always the third from the left. Boron!
