A productive day in my life in med school 👩🏻‍⚕️

Foreign decided to move abroad. I was excited but also terrified. Living alone, away from family and friends, meant stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing a whole new world. And let me tell you, it's been a roller coaster of emotions and experiences, but it has also been one of the most rewarding decisions I've ever made.

I've learned to be more independent and self-sufficient, mastering essential life skills like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting. One habit that significantly improved my life is incorporating Koso drink into my daily routine. Koso is a fermented beverage made from a variety of fruits, vegetables, and plants, rich in post-biotics, probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, and nutrients essential for good gut health.

Drinking Koso every morning on an empty stomach nourishes my body for the day, and before bed, it aids digestion and reduces bloating. To make it enjoyable, mix it with sparkling water. Incorporating Koso into my daily routine has helped me in various ways, including reduced bloating, better sleep quality, improved focus, and mental clarity. It's also non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly.

If you don't know, actually, the gut and brain are both connected, so if you're feeling tired or if you're struggling to focus, or if you're feeling dizzy, the problem might be in your gut. Finding out about Koso might help. Since Koso is a Japanese traditional drink, I'm actually really honored to introduce you guys to Koso, which my ancestors have been using for centuries to protect their gut health.

Also, the great thing is they ship internationally, so wherever you're living, they're probably shipping to your country. For Japan and for the US, they're shipping it for free. So, I've been drinking this as a daily supplement, but you can either do a day cleanse or maybe a three-day cleanse, where you can probably feel the effects more intensely in a shorter period of time.

If you're interested in trying Koso, use the link down in the description and improve your gut health with Koso. Beyond just focusing on my physical health, I've also experienced significant emotional growth since moving abroad. I've learned to cope with homesickness and loneliness, which are natural feelings when you are far away from family and friends.

In the process, I've managed to build a support system of new friends and connections, which has been invaluable in helping me adjust to my new life. Adulting can be daunting, especially in your early 20s when you're just beginning to figure out who you are and what you want to be. For me, moving abroad and attending university provided the perfect opportunity to explore my interests and passions while also learning to balance responsibilities and self-care.

Going to classes, studying, and working part-time taught me the importance of time management and prioritization. I learned to set realistic goals and break them down into smaller tasks, making sure that I could accomplish them one step at a time. But as my passion for YouTube and making money online grew, I realized that university wasn't my main focus. Instead, I began to prioritize my online ventures and discovered new ways to make a living and grow my personal brand.

Achieving financial independence has been a game changer for me. It's not just about having money to spend; it's about being in control of your life and your choices. As I began to make money online, I learned the importance of managing my finances responsibly. I started by creating a budget, tracking my expenses, and setting aside a portion of my earnings for savings and investments.

I also made it a point to educate myself on personal finance, which has helped me make informed decisions about how to grow my wealth and ensure my future financial security. So, I actually, the majority of the time, don't really intend to live here as much because I don't really find the whole university system and structure beneficial. This is not only about Italy or my university, but in most of the universities, the lectures are done in a way that feels unproductive.

The professor talks for an hour, an hour and a half, and they're supposed to teach you stuff, but in reality, all they do is actually read the lecture slides and not explain much. For sure, there are some professors who are very interactive, but if I can get the lecture slides after the lecture, there is no point for me to come to university. If the lecture is not attractive enough, actually, there's no reason for you to come to university.

I've seen this with a lot of students. Most of the time, especially in medicine, lectures are not productive. So, what I do most of the time is that I don't really come to lectures but instead I get the lecture slides from other students or most of the time professors actually send it to the student group. I love it myself, but I do tend to choose the lectures that are either mandatory or their clinical practice.

I've seen a lot of people starting to do this, especially after COVID. I think a lot of people realized that you do not necessarily have to go to all of your classes if they're not mandatory. There are pros and cons about not going to lectures; on one hand, you would probably not really have the studio most people want to have.

When you go to classes, what if other people are like already friends? For example, in my class, everybody knows each other and they're really close, but I'm not really close with anyone else. I don't really know anybody else. If you're going abroad, if you're studying in university, in order to experience student life, maybe attending lectures and getting to know people, communicating with them, and becoming friends might be important.

But for me, to be honest, my whole life is more focused on YouTube and making money so I can support myself. Actually, going into student loan is not really a priority for me to be honest. I also meet very amazing and interesting people outside of university, most of the time either being content creators or entrepreneurs.

So, you know, it's really up to you. If you want to have an extraordinary life, you can't live like an ordinary person. I'm not saying that I'm better than anyone because I don't go to lectures, but this is how I balance most of the time.

By not going to mandatory lectures, I have time to create YouTube videos and also do other creations that can help support myself.

Building a social life in a foreign country can be challenging, but it's also an opportunity to meet new people, experience different cultures, and create lasting memories. While I haven't had the chance to socialize much in Rome, I'm really looking forward to meeting interesting people who will inspire me to grow as a person.

Embracing a growth mindset has been crucial in my journey so far, and I believe that surrounding myself with individuals who share the same outlook will help me continue to develop and reach my full potential. A growth mindset is all about believing that you can improve and develop your skills and talents through effort, perseverance, and learning from experiences.

This approach has not only helped me overcome challenges and adapt to change, but it has also allowed me to see opportunities in every situation. As I look forward to expanding my social circle and connecting with like-minded individuals, I'm excited to learn from their unique perspectives, experiences, and knowledge.

I believe that having a diverse, inspiring network of people in my life will help me continue to grow both personally and professionally. Okay, so if you guys don't know, I'm actually planning to release a language-related course. I made quite a lot of language-related videos, but in that course, I'm also going to cover areas that I've never spoken on this channel.

I actually filmed the course, but then when I was sending my files to my editor, I realized that there were a couple of problems with two files. So, I'm going to refilm those parts and also I'm going to film another video.

In the midst of all this adulting and hustling, it's crucial to prioritize self-care and maintain a healthier lifestyle. For me, that means hitting the gym regularly and staying active. Working out not only keeps me physically fit but also helps me manage stress and maintain a positive mindset. Finding that balance between work, play, and self-care has been essential in keeping me grounded and focused.

Thank you. I hope this video inspired you in some way to grow as a person and enjoy your adulting. I hope to see you next time, so bye for now.
