How to use social media to sell private jets!

Uh, we've had a guy walk in the door here and say, you know, I saw you guys on TikTok yesterday and I'm looking to buy this jet. I made this offer four days ago. I don't know if it's going to succeed, but what do you think?

He showed us the offer, and we told him, you know, he made a mistake. You should have done this, this, and this. And right away, he said, listen, I'll tell you why I'm going to pay you this much if you help me buy this airplane. But if it doesn't go through, I want to sign a contract with you to go out and find me another one of these jets, talking about something in the 25 million dollar area.

The guy saw me on TikTok, so it slapped me in the face and woke up and said, wow, this is where the world's going. And now all my friends, you know, I tell them when your kids tell you you really don't know what's going on, Dad or Mom, you're like, shut up, I've been around for all these years. You know what? They're kind of right. We can't think the way we've always thought.

Before, the world is evolving, is changing, and it's changing very, very quick. When you're young, you really can have a real chance to succeed quicker and without all of the things that were required to have 30 years, 40 years ago.

Visualizing Fourier expansion of square wave
So we started with a square wave that had a period of two pi. Then we said, “Hmm, can we represent it as an infinite series of weighted sines and cosines?” Working from that idea, we were actually able to find expressions for the coefficients for a sub 0…
Magic Tricks with Larry Wilmore | StarTalk
Anytime I interview somebody, no matter who they are, I want to know if they have some hidden geek credentials. Almost everybody does; they just don’t admit to it in any other interview because they don’t get any street cred for doing so. But on Star Talk…
How Special Relativity Makes Magnets Work
Only a few elements can be permanent magnets - iron is one. Copper is not. But if you pass an electric current through any metal, it becomes a magnet - an electromagnet. But how does this work? Well, strangely enough, it’s a consequence of special relativ…
