Private vs first class.

If you had the choice between flying private or flying first class, which would you choose?

Private, 100% of the time. Flexibility, security, safety, quality of life, time. You can leave when you want to go, what airport you want to go to and from. It's worth the extra money.

I do it myself.

Also, so you have your own jet?

Do you?

I rent. I don't fly enough to own one, and I'm not nearly as wealthy as any of these people. But I practice what I preach. I bring clients with me sometimes. I go see clients; they know I'm in their game. I'm not going to fly on EasyJet and then go talk to them about buying a $50 million plane. It's part of being in the world.

And does it save a lot of time?

Oh my God, yeah! I calculated with an executive who has a jet, and they're flying 400 hours a year. An executive could have 40 extra days than if they were flying commercial.

And that doesn't include the productivity time on the jet. You're going to a fight at a Heathrow; you got to get there 2 hours early at least. The way you get on the airplane, probably delayed, whatever. You can't work because there's people around you. You can't talk with your Associates. You land; you got to wait another hour for baggage and get through customs and everything like that.
