Hello viewers and subscribers! Sorokin - Tennis, and in this video I would like to talk about the person who at last, for a very long time, more than 10 years, for the very first time will be able to change the big 3. This is Alcaraz, about the new king of tennis, in my opinion, who will come neither for a month nor for a year, who will be able to make his own Era, something similar to the Era of a big 3: Federer, Nadal, Djokovic.

Now, I don't see anybody next to him. 2nd, 3rd, maybe Sebastian Korda... ups... Holger Rune, after RG 2022, when I first saw him playing, who will be able to do something similar to what Federer, Nadal, Djokovic did, except for Alcaraz.

And in this video, I would like to make the comparison, some kind of battle between Nadal and Alcaraz. As at the moment when Nadal appeared in the ATP, he beat all the records that were set till him, according to the youngest achievements of some titles, the fastest getting into the top 100 ATP, etc.

So in this video, we will look at those components which can be compared: Nadal/ Alcaraz, Alcaraz / Nadal. So, I will say it again, we will try to compare only the things which can be compared.

For example, you can easily understand that Nadal and Alcaraz played in different ERAS. Fortunately for me, I had no opportunity to get the facts to compare their junior tennis; because in this case, I would definitely go mad. Even now, I have looked through a huge amount of information, facts, to get them.

So, they were born on these dates: 5 May 2003 in the El Palmar city, Spain, Alcaraz. 3 June 1986, Nadal, Manacor, Balearic Islands. At the age of 4, Alcaraz began playing tennis with his father; at the same age, at 4, Nadal began playing tennis with his uncle.

From a very young age, the idol of Alcaraz was Nadal. That's why this comparison could have one more additional characteristic: how the person whose idol was Nadal caught up with him and finally beat him. Maybe he hasn't caught up with him in titles, but it seems to me he has everything ahead.

Both of them support Real Madrid and are interested in football ⚽️. Also, both of them play golf; Nadal did golf more professionally. For those who read Nadal's biography, they probably know that he had a period in his life when he couldn't manage to treat his ankle and thought about golf as a professional sport, and even took part in several golf tournaments. Alcaraz just plays for contracts.

Both of them are playing Babolat rackets and are also equipped by Nike. I don't talk about the rest because I don't have the information about the rest—about watches, pants, etc. But you definitely know that Nadal has many more contracts than Alcaraz concerning tennis. Everything is similar: Nike and Babolat.

As far as how quickly I found the information about this video, I noticed many mistakes which I didn't pay attention to before on the internet. When it was written "15 years old Alcaraz," also the video where this or that tournament was played, he is far from 15.

That's why I decided to do everything about statistics, who did what earlier, and who beat which record. So, 1st futures, Nadal played at the age of 15y 3m in Madrid and lost in the 1st round to the 731 Rank Guillermo Platel, lost 1st Round. Alcaraz played his 1st futures at the age of 15y 7m, also in Spain, Murcia, and lost in the 3rd round. On the way to the 3rd round, he knocked out a 292 ATP ranking player and earned his 1st prize money of $438.

1st futures won, Nadal at 16y 1m in Spain 🇪🇸; Alcaraz won his 1st futures at 16y 8m, also in Spain. 1st challenger, Nadal played at the age of 16y 3m and lost in the 2nd round. The 1st challenger played Alcaraz at the age of 16y 2m and from the very first time won it.

Nadal won his 1st match at the ATP tournament main draw at the age of 15y 10m and beat Ramon Delgado, 81 ATP ranking. At the moment Nadal got his first ATP victory at the ATP tournament, he became the youngest player ever who managed to do this at the age younger than 16y.o. Alcaraz won his first match at the ATP tournaments at the age of 16y 10m and beat Albert Ramos-Vinolas, 41 ATP ranked player.

Nadal got in the top 100 ATP at the age of 16y 10m and becoming 96 rank ATP. Alcaraz got in the top 100 ATP at the age of 18y 0m and becoming number 94 ATP.

1st ATP title achievement, Nadal got in Sopot, Poland, at the age of 18y 2m. Alcaraz won his first ATP title also at the age of 18y 2m in Umag, Croatia 🇭🇷. In the final match, he knocked out Gasquet.

1st win under a player from top 10 ATP, Alcaraz achieved at the age of 18y 4m; Tsitsipas was beaten, number 3 ATP rank in the 5 set match in the 3rd round of the US OPEN. The 1st victory under top 10 ATP player Nadal achieved at the age of 17y 10m, and it was Roger Federer, beaten, no 1 in the world at that moment. For all that year, Federer lost only six matches, including this match to Rafael Nadal.

Alcaraz, for the 1st time, knocked out number 1 in the world at the age of 19y 0m at the Madrid Masters; it was Novak Djokovic beaten. Nadal got into the Top 50 ATP at the age of 18y 2m and becoming number 47 ATP. Alcaraz got into the top 50 ATP at the age of 18y 4m and becoming 38 ATP.

Alcaraz won his first masters tournament at the age of 18y 11m on Miami hard court and in the final beat Casper Ruud. Nadal won his 1st masters title at the age of 18y 10m, Rome clay court; in the final, he beat Coria. And one more interesting fact about Nadal, that in the year 2005, in the final match of the Barcelona tournament, Nadal knocked out the coach of Alcaraz, Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Nadal got into the Top 10 ATP at the age of 18y 10m. Alcaraz got into the Top 10 ATP at the age of 19y 0m. The first Grand Slam title Nadal achieved at the age of 18y 11m; he won Roland Garros. Alcaraz is 19 y.o. now.

The first H2H match was in Madrid in 2021; Nadal won easily, 6:1 6:2. Their second H2H match was in Indian Wells in 2022; it was a very tough match in which Nadal took the victory, 6:3 in the final 3rd. And then, after one month in Madrid on Masters, 6:3 in the 3rd decisive set, the 1st time in his career, Alcaraz achieved victory against the idol of his childhood. No 1 ATP Ranked, Nadal became at the age of 22y 2m.

So, Alcaraz has 3y 2m more at the moment when this video was being recorded. I would like to mention one more interesting fact: that Mariano Puerta, for the moment when he was playing the Grand Slam final, it was Roland Garros against Nadal, had already been disqualified for using doping before this final.

After this tournament, he passed the doping test again, and the result of this test was positive again, and he was disqualified for the second time, but this time for the period of 8 years, which became the longest disqualification for doping ever. I have a friend of mine; his name is Igor. He told me one story that he lived in one room with Puerta at the futures tournament in Iran 🇮🇷.

And one time Puerta gave him a few pills 💊 before the match, and it was something unforgettable, as he said, to play while these pills were working. And entirely, the room which my friend was sharing with Puerta looked like an alchemist's room. Pills and powders were everywhere in the room.

Dear viewers and subscribers, Sorokin Tennis Channel, I have never asked you about anything, but to tell you the truth, every video you watch is hard work. You see the video which you have just watched, and 4 minutes have passed.

There are videos which are difficult to shoot for me but easy to edit for Nikita. Some videos are difficult to create for both of us. It took me more than 15 hours to search for the material (+60 montage) for the video you are watching. I had to compare all the facts to find these dates, to match how they were on the achievements which were compared.

A huge amount of work has been done for this. At the moment, the most liked video named "Famous Academies of Tennis" has got 228 likes. If you wish to see the continuation of these videos about the comparison of Alcaraz with the other players of BIG 3, for example, like Djokovic and Federer, and what they had achieved when they were at the same age as Alcaraz now, then this video should get more than 228 likes. If not, you won’t see the continuation.

The comparison of somebody with the new king of tennis Alcaraz. If gets, there are a lot of other aspects which can be also compared, and it's not about only numbers—how old they were when they took that title or got those achievements.

For example, technical characteristics. So if you are interested in this, please show it in action: for the minimum, put a like at the end of this video, subscribe to the channel, share your opinion about this video. Also, write me down in which more aspects you would like to see the comparison of Alcaraz with somebody else, and what exactly you want to compare, and don't get old on the tennis court!
