A day in my life Japan Vlog-Tokyo Korean Town

Hi guys, it's me Rudy. Today I'm back with another Japan vlog! Somebody commented that he is bored of seeing the waking up and the breakfast scene that I always include in my vlogs, so today I will listen to that feedback and skip that part. If you're interested in traditional Japanese breakfast, you can check my other Japan vlogs. It's pretty fancy!

Anyways, the day I filmed this vlog, we had a PCR test appointment, so my mother and I decided to chill in Tokyo after getting tested. As always, I was amazed how Japanese public transportation is always punctual and clean. I visited so many different countries but have never seen public transportation as good as Japan. They're always on time, and if they're late, even only for a minute, they'll announce it and apologize for the delay. Also, they will give you some sort of a document saying the train had a hold of blah blah minutes because of blah blah blah, so that you can bring it to your school work and prove that your lateness was not your mistake.

We came across Family Mart, which is a popular convenience store in Japan. In Japan, we have so many varieties of every single food. By the way, that was a melon-flavored bread! Yes, Japanese people love trying new tastes, things, etc. Therefore, Japanese companies try to make unique and creative products. Whenever I visit Japan, there is always a new product that I haven't tried yet, and as you guys might or might not know, I love trying new tastes.

After getting PCR tested, I headed out to an electronic shop to look for a hair dryer. Japan is famous for its hair care items, and when you look at Japanese people, most of them have shiny, healthy, beautiful hair. Genetics also plays a significant role in this; however, you would be amazed how much time and money Japanese people spend on their hair—not only hair but generally on themselves. Here, I was showing you a unique hairdryer that you can also use for massaging yourself. On display, it explains how you can massage your boobies using the hair dryer. I know it's kind of ridiculous, but breast massages are pretty popular in Japan—not necessarily getting more giant boobs, but getting softer boobs. You can also use it to release the tension by warming these areas for your neck and ear. It costs about 230 dollars.

The hair dryer that I wanted was not suitable for overseas usage because of the voltage difference, so I gave up buying it. After that, I went to a shopping mall. I saw the French macaron shop, Latter Day, which I'm in love with, but personally, I prefer the Pierre macarons. In Japan, there are so many different fashion tastes. You can go for a feminine look, casual, relaxed, emo, cute, unique, etc. You can basically find whatever clothing style you look for. There are so many different Japanese clothing brands in diverse price ranges. If you hate being twinsies with others, no worries; there are unlimited brands of clothing that you can choose from. United Tokyo and CDG are some of my favorite Japanese clothing brands; however, they're pretty expensive.

Since I don't have a taste, but I got bored of my clothing style, I'm pretty determined to become a fashionable Instagrammer—just kidding, maybe not! After spending time looking for cute clothes, we got hungry, so we decided to head to Shinokubo. Yokobo is known for its Korean town; however, there are a lot of different restaurants, cafes, and shops from all around the world. I saw a soba temper restaurant in the train station. Soba is a thin Japanese noodle made from buckwheat, and it basically means buckwheat. It is prepared in various hot and cold dishes. It's packed with fiber, so it's good for your digestion.

There was a machine where you can buy the ticket for your soba and also for other foods, so you basically pay first, show the ticket, and eat in the restaurant. They also had curry, which is one of my favorite dishes. Hello to my Indian friends!

I saw a super cool digital vending machine in the train station. In Japan, they have fancy-ass vending machines. Sometimes in Tokyo, you can find a vending machine with a camera, and AI will analyze your face and recommend a drink for you. It always recommends me sweet beverages, probably because I'm a good girl. I saw another vending machine with fancy drinks like smoothie, boba, cheesecake-flavored soy milk, devil's tongue, which is a cognac grape drink, caramel custard-flavored drink, etc.

After showing you and explaining the fancy Japanese vending machines, I thought I was being too good today—whatever that means. It's time to reward yourself with yummy Vietnamese food! I ordered a beef pho menu with bean sprouts fried and some fresh spring rolls. If you have never tried Vietnamese food, shame on you! It's so good! I want to visit Vietnam so freaking much, so after COVID, I'll probably see you there. Stay tuned for vlogs!

It's time for our taste tests. It was yummy! After having my lunch set, I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. It has condensed milk in it, and it's one of my favorite coffees out there. I might do a coffee world tour one day if I have enough money, of course. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're supposed to mix the condensed milk with the coffee and enjoy it, right?

After having my coffee, I decided to grab some tunkarons, fat Korean macarons for my mukbang video. If you haven't watched it yet, I'll put a link in the description below. As I said, Shinokubo is known for its Korean town. You can find Korean restaurants, idol merch cafes, clothing shops, cosmetic shops—basically everything you want!

I found a super aesthetic café on Instagram, and every single dessert they sell is so aesthetic and cute, so I thought, why not? They have various tastes such as cheese, berries, Oreo, matcha, bubble gum, coffee cream cheese, and grape milk, etc. I ordered my macarons for taking out and went to the upstairs of the café because I needed to take some photos that I'll probably use for my thumbnail. The café is so cute that you can take those Insta photos. This is awesome for those like me who suck at being an iconic Instagrammer!

I visit Shinokubo every single year because of its cute cafes. There are so many cute cafes that I'll hopefully visit in my next pin visit. K-pop is pretty popular in Japan, like everywhere else in the world. Do you listen to K-pop? I sometimes listen to Mamamoo because I have a massive crush on Hwasa.

After spending a good time in Shinokubo, I thought it was time to go to Shibuya. You're probably familiar with Shibuya if you have ever watched anime before because of the college. Shibuya wasn't crowded that much; it is usually much more crowded. I know I already, but being a good girl every day is not easy, so I decided to treat myself to some yummy pancakes. Japan is famous for its fluffy pancakes, which I'm a big fan of. However, I ordered a regular pancake called pineapple, condensed milk, banana, honey-flavored. It was so excellent that I can't forget the taste of it.

So after having the yummy pancake and making circular motions to show how yummy it is, I thought it was time to show Shibuya a little bit. We saw a unique bread cake café where you can eat free birthday bread cake. I think it looks yummy, but my dear insulin hormone would not be proud of it if I ate that.

After looking around and having some yummy foods, I thought it was time to show how good a girl I am! So I got my grandparents unagi, which refers to the Japanese eel. Unagi is a super expensive dish, and my grandparents love it; however, I don't like it.

Okay guys, I came back home! I hope you guys enjoyed this video, and yeah, that was it for today! I hope you enjoyed! Let me see you in my next video!
