Когда я имел удовольствие работать с Сергеем Алексеевичем, он как-то сказал про какую-то систему, которая там была. Я сказал так: «Ну там в девяностые годы, там двумя руками замах ставили, ракетки были деревянные, справа и слева хватки были открытые».

Он сказал: «Кто тебе такую дурость сказал?» Я ответил: «Ну блин, ну так объясняли, что вот так вот, здесь всех так учили». Он говорит: «Всё, уже давно изобретено! В теннисе нельзя изобрести велосипед! Все забегали под правой, все открывали под правой корт и били в открытой стойке и играли закрытыми хватками».

Я говорю: «Как в девяностом году?» И он показал, он показал те же видео. Да, в Одессе до сих пор учили двумя руками и открытыми стойками.

Я узнал там в девяносто втором, девяносто третьем году первый раз, а на мировом уровне, там где немногие видео в ютубе, закрытыми нормальными хватками все били ту же открытую стойку. Велосипед уже не изобретён, система изобретена давно.
