Hey guys, this is Mack Kids 101, and uh, as of September 25th, people will be allowed to MMS with their iPhones. But, uh, if they're using AT&T, because Apple's 3.0 operating system allows the MMS and tethering, but AT&T does not allow MMS and tethering. Meaning, if you have an iPhone, um, you can't MMS and tether.

Today's tutorial is going to be how to enable MMS and tethering on your iPhone without jailbreaking, and it's simple and easy. The first thing you want to do is download this file from our website, so just click on the link in the description of the video.

Okay, then plug in your iPhone to your computer and open up iTunes. Now, all you need to do is replace the IPCC file. The IPCC file is the file that tells your iPhone whether AT&T allows or doesn’t allow certain features. So, this IPCC file says tethering and MMS is allowed.

You're going to click Option and check for updates, and then select the IPCC file. But by default, you're probably not going to be able to do that because, um, iTunes by default disables um, choosing your own IPCC file.

So, all you do is go into Terminal, and you have to edit this plist file. And so all you have to do is type this in:

default space right space com.dot.apples.dot.itunes space carrier dash testing space dash pool space capital true

And this is all going to be in the description of the video. Then press Enter, and then it will enable picking your own IPCC file.

You click Option, check for update, and it's not going to update everything; it's just going to update this one IPCC file. So you select it, you click Choose.

Now, uh, it says when it says iPhone sync is complete, okay to disconnect. You turn off your iPhone, and then when you turn it back on, you will have tethering and MMS enabled.

Thank you for watching Mack Kids 101. Subscribe, and goodbye!
