Would you fly in a private jet without a pilot?

Hey Steve, would you ever fly on a plane without a pilot? Well, I would when the technology gets good enough. I don't know if anybody else would. I think that, you know, people like to have that comfort factor of having somebody in the cockpit, even if the airplane is capable of doing that.

So, like, when you have a car, you can have a self-driving car, you still want to be behind the steering wheel just in case. And in an airplane, you’ve got to be a lot more “just in case” than you do in a car.

If you really look at even the eVTOLs, these passenger-carrying drones or flying cars, whatever you want to call them, they're going to be starting to be certified really within the next year. Over the next 2-3 years, you're going to see a lot of them being certified, and they're going to start with pilots.

But eventually, they're going to be all automated, and I think by the end of this decade, the technology will be good enough to see it happen pretty regularly. But again, I don't know if people are just generally going to feel comfortable about being in an airplane without a pilot.
