Back In Action | Big Fish Texas

What's happening? Boys trying to show this boy out on tightrope? Make you figure out you mean you're doing nothing. Okay, I'm waiting on parts right now. Thank you. Much stuff, there's plenty of cleaning. There's lots of stuff doing their cleaning. Don't matter, we need to go fishing.

Who's we? It's me and you and Kenny going. You've been having a real good time. Three months off, it's time to go to work, Chris. You can take my spot. Yeah, I'd rather have him, but law says you go to school, he goes fishing, and I'm the law.

All right, see there? See you in a couple minutes, all right? Okay, wishing you wish you'd go for me. Rikki's my younger brother by two years. He recently got back from the Marines, you know, traveling overseas. Growing up, me and Ricky were really close; we were always hanging out, just doing something. Loved having him back at the fish house.

Things are different. It's not like we'd wrestle in our underwear or anything like that anymore. You still know how to play? Yeah, I know how to play. It's like riding a bike. It's not fair. I've been back for a couple months now, and it's taking me a minute to readjust to the family and be back in Texas in general.

But the fish market, it's always the same. It's been like 10 years since we've done this together. Yeah, it wasn't fun that either, the good old torture days. I think I was 14 when I started working at the fish market. I remember Buddy asked me, he said, "You want to start making money and grow up or do you want to be a kid?" I said, "I want to be a kid." He said, "Well, who gives? Gonna work anyways."

The worst part about working here would smell like fish. When I was a kid, none of the girls wanted to get in my car. I'm starting a family here. I have my family here. I got a house. I just got back from overseas, you know? I've always been a little different, and now it's time for me to readjust and try to take over and do something here.

I'm happy to have you back, you know? It's nice having the will back up around here. I'm happy to be here helping you out.

Multivariable chain rule and directional derivatives
So in the last video, I introduced the vector form of the multivariable chain rule. Just to remind ourselves, I’m saying you have some kind of function f, and in this case, I said it comes from a 100-dimensional space. You might imagine, well, I can’t im…
