Start up video file.
Matt kids 101 here. Today, this is a video on where the video that plays when you turn on your computer for the first time is. Because when you turn on your computer for the first time, it plays a video and plays a tune, and it goes like, "Dinner." I don't care about the tools anyway.
I'm going to show you how to find these. First, you go into Finder. Macintosh HD, open up System, open up Library, open up Core Services, then go down to Setup Assistant right here. Hold Ctrl while clicking Setup Assistant app and click "Show Package Contents." Then, open Content, Resources, Transition section that bundle. Control click that, so I'll control all clicking that and click "Show Package Contents."
Open Contents, Resources, and here are the two files: intro.dot.mov. You can just open it up; it will automatically open up in QuickTime. Then, I'll move to QuickTime and play. This is just the video; there's no sound to this video. If you want to open the sound, you have to open the other thing. I'll show you how to do that.
Okay, so first, I'll quit that. Now, there's also intro sound.mp3. You can just open that, and this is the song that plays along with it. So my iTunes is going to open up. Just wait a second, okay? Volumes them.
Okay, it's really nice to hear that tune. It's just a cool little thing to listen to. And then if you import these both to iMovie, it's really nice because then you can add them together and import the intro sound and import the intro.dot.mov. Then you can make them all one and then upload it to YouTube and get sued for breaking copyright laws. I hope you don't do this.
Anyway, so um, thank you for watching. Mad heads, I'm subscribed to our videos and goodby...
