I mean, at least at least we're being creative. All right, we have a lot of stuff going on here. What's going on here? What's going on? What does that mean? All right, so what did you just say? Did you just use the f word? I'm a good girl. I don't do that.

Hi guys, it's me, Judy, and it's me, Rash. What's going on? Hey, my Turkish friend, my lovely Turkish friend? Gonna be trying some weird-ass Japanese snacks. Please introduce yourself.

[Music]

I will. So, my name is Resh. I have a YouTube channel. It's basically about different types of languages and, um, also a lot of fun stuff. We also recorded a video on my channel. We posted at the same time we posted this video. So after watching this video, you should definitely go over to my channel. You'll find the link in the description box below and somewhere up there, I don't know.

And, yeah, definitely go check it out, guys. Hit the subscribe button while you're there.

Well, yeah, let's get started. All right, firstly, let me kind of explain these snacks. You have to make these snacks by your own. I think these are like chilies.

I donā€™tā€”what? What did you say? I have to make them on my own?

Yes, here's the instruction. You have to make these snacks for your own, so you have to create your own sushi and like your own donuts and own hamburgers.

Wait a second. You said you're going to make me try out snacks, and now I'm going to have to make the mice myself?

Oh my god, for sure. You have to work first. First the work, then the pleasure.

Yeah, all right. Okay, let's do it. So, let's start with the easy one. Here is the needle, which means I like that. Made it kind of like means mixing things. So, and these are kind of like a cotton candy that you make by yourself.

So I'm not really sure which I want to go first.

I mean, you can try both of them.

Okay, this one has the grape kind of like flavor, and this one has the soda flavor.

Soda?

Yeah, in Japanese, we say it's soda, but it's actually kind of like a spritey kind of like taste.

Okay, let's open the snacks.

What if I don't speak Japanese?

The instructions are unclear. In Japan, most of the people cannot really talk in English. You just have to know Japanese. It's kind of like really hard for foreigners in Japan to live without knowing Japanese. You really have to know Japanese, especially if you're living outside of Tokyo.

Oh god, okay, it's not really foreign-friendly. So, especially not if you want to eat some neru neru nero.

Yeah, okay. When you open the package, you get like these kind of like weird powders for making an internet, and also you have this kind of bowl. It has a specific way to make those, and when you don't follow the instructions, you would like me to mess up, and I already love it without even having tasted it before.

It tastes like kind of like a sweet, but at the same time, kind of like sour. So, what am I supposed to do with it?

Okay, like am I just gonnaā€”no, no, no, no. They have like numbers. As you can see, this is the first one. It says ichiban, ichiba. And this is sambai.

You told me that these snacks will improve my handcraft?

Yeah, it's actually supposed to improve children's hand crafts, and also, I think it really improves your creativity.

I hope it still will improve my skills.

Okay, let's see though. I'm really curious. So, firstly, [Music] take this part out, and this is kind of like a cup where you're going to be measuring your water.

Firstly, we're going to be adding our ichiban, and be careful, you're going to be putting this powder into the bigger side of the bowl.

I want to smell it first.

It smells like grape! It smells like bubble gum!

Let's put thisā€”all of it?

Yes, all of it!

Okay, and then we're gonna be adding one scoop of water.

Now put it there, like this.

Okay, I add the water. It kind of like turned into grape color.

Mine's like yellowish.

Okay, now we're gonna add the me bum, so number two.

Number two, adding it now.

Wow, and when you mix the kind of like mixture, as you can see it changes colors, and this kind of like thing is native.

So you're just native?

Oh, so it's actually the sound of it?

Yeah, lit.

Okay, I'm nerving right now. Look at this! Looks like a bad moisturizer. I'm gonna apply it to my skin later.

Now the samba.

Oh yeah, oh yours is different!

Yes, yours is more like crystals and stars; mine's like this.

Oh, you'reā€”like this is kind of Japanese candy. I don't know if you guys can see it.

Yeah, this is a ramune.

Yeah, like this! And you're going to be dipping that into this.

All right, okay now I'm curious.

Okay, I donā€™t know if you like ramune. I personally donā€™t like it that much.

Okay, now this is what it looks like when I do it, guys. This is myā€”okay, it's kind of sour, and I donā€™t like sour things.

It's like a sugar overdose. It's like so much sugar!

Yeah, but this is like for kids.

I mean, yeah, it's like I like it, but the amount of sugar is just too much. Maybe.

Oh, it's like a little sprinkles to this one.

Taste the sprinkles!

Oh god, I can literally feel the sugar in my veins, my veins!

It's interesting that we had to make it first.

Yeah, mine is actually not that sweet.

Can I taste it too?

That's true.

Okay, I'll try this one. This one's pink.

[Music]

Okay, this one's less sweet, but this one is insanely sweet!

This is gonna give me a sugar shock, but it's good though. I can understand why kids will like it.

I think it's creative. Now sushi! After the internet, this is probably gonna be good, but this is, I think, harder than the other one because you firstly have to make the rice, and then we have to make the fish of it.

Okay, so this one is a little bit harder than the other one. We have quite a lot of ingredients, as you can see. I'm going to be reading you the instructions, and you're going to be making these, all right?

But you're not going to read it out in Japanese already?

I'm going to translate that. So firstly we have to make the rice.

No, no!

And that is this? How could I not know that this is the rice powder?

It doesnā€™t have a smell, and then you're gonna be mixing this as well.

All right, I'll mix it.

Mix it up, stir it up.

It looks like rice, by the way! Can you guys see this?

Thank you!

Yeah, I think these snacks really teach children to be patient in my opinion, because you have to make first.

Oh yeah! In order to eat!

Yeah, and then beforehand, you burn the calories and then you eat the calories, and then it's actually a zero surplus.

Okay, now we're gonna be making some eggs.

Eggs?

Yes, here is the egg powder.

Oh wow!

Do you remember the last time you had water?

Water is pretty healthy. I mean, maybe a couple hours ago.

Okay, you should be drinking.

I know! How much water do you drink a day?

Two liters.

Two liters, that's good! I drink a lot, especially when I woke up.

This just turned yellow!

Yes, because you're making right now the eggs of the sushi.

Oh, but is this just egg yolk?

Um, no, it's actually the tamagoyaki, which is kind of like egg dish.

We're making right now! This, this literally looks like egg yolk, guys!

I haven't smelled it!

What a lot! It says after mixing it well.

It's not mixed well enough!

This weeks enough actually! You're just gonna leave it for three minutes and it's gonna take its own shape.

I donā€™t know why, but it looks like something women would put on their face after taking off their makeup, a mask.

Yeah, that's what you call it, I guess, a mask.

We also have tuna! Guys, you have to have your Omega-3 fatty acids intake plus your proteins, so get your mother right!

Okay, okay, now you're gonna be adding water once again, right?

Once again! Everything is just contains water!

Man!

Oh no! I'm adding water to the cooked rice.

It's not that hard.

Oh my god! You justā€”you just made a rice go wet!

As you can see, a kid didn't grow up with these, like snacks cannot really do that because his handcraft is not improved yet.

Yeah, we're gonna fix that!

Okay, this doesn't have a specific smell either.

Wait, okay, this has a smell though!

What does it smell like?

I think this smells like a grape!

Why does everything smell like a grape to you?

Grape!

Grape! Actually, grape flavor is very popular in Japanese snacks, like Japanese snacks for chili!

This is the first thing that we're making that doesn't actually look like it!

It smells like grape jam!

This is a weird texture, it looks crazy. I donā€™t like the maguro.

Now we're going to be making our nori, which is the seaweed.

Seaweed?

All right, you eat croissant.

Okay, I have no idea what you just said. Is this for the soy sauce?

It's actually for like the ikura, which is this kind of likeā€”we're gonna be making those, all right?

Oh, what is going on?

[Music]

I can't handle my nori!

So you're gonna open the package, and actually, they have like a guide for the size of the nori. So you're gonna be adjusting the size like here.

This looks so ugly, by the way!

Noris have feelings too! Don't talk to them like that!

Now this is a perfect nori, guys!

Now we're gonna be making our caviars!

Let's put water.

You missed them!

I didn't do anything!

Okay, there's no evidence of messing up!

Now we're going to be adding our A powder and then B powder.

These are the caviar powders!

We're going to be taking ikura from the B plate, and we're going to be adding that to A plate.

What is this?

Oh my god! What? What?

What is going on?

What kind of sorcery is this?

Have you ever done this before?

No, actually not!

So you're gonna be taking this, and then you're gonna be kind of like making the shape of the sushi rice like this!

Oh my god! Can you help me with that?

I don't think I'm good at it.

This has like the weirdest texture ever!

And then you're gonna be adding the egg part!

This is the egg sushi!

Okay, so our first sushi is completed!

Let's put theā€”something!

It looks so gross!

Okay, now it actually does look likeā€”yes, this is yours.

Should we eat it?

Yes, cheers!

Out of respect, I'm not vomiting!

Do you want to make the caviar one as well?

If I don't have to eat it, yes!

Does this thing know that it's supposed to be a sushi?

What did you do?

I like the natto net or narende better!

Yeah, it's the easiest one, and I think it tastes much better than those!

You want to eat?

No, no, no, no!

But yeah, [Music] I mean, at least at least we're being creative. Someone called 9-1-1! At least we're creative, though. We're creative!

That was a lot of fun!

Yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed this video, and we did!

Don't forget to check his channel out, link in the description.

And if you haven't liked this video yet, give it a big thumbs up, guys! Big, big thumbs up!

Big, big! And don't forget to leave a comment if you would try those snacks or not!
