Рафаэль Надаль и его снятие с Уимблдона стало ли это неожиданным? Для меня нет. Э... Он попробовал себя в лучшее, своей сфере на грунте. Возвращение, таким, каким многие фанаты Надаля его ждали, не получилось.

Зачем ему ехать на Уимблдон, где покрытие быстрее, при том, что он не успевает ногами даже на грунте, совершенно непонятно. Для меня очевидно одно: то есть он попробует достойно завершить свою карьеру в паре с Алькарасом на Олимпиаде. Я думаю, что даже одиночка там не нужна, и помашем ручкой на Лавер Капе в Берлине.

Хотя я не исключаю такой вариант, что само принятие решения по участию в Лавер Капе, даже в паре, будет приниматься на основе результатов Олимпийских игр. Если это будет совсем неудачно, и тело Надаля не будет готово, то это будет просто его присутствие в команде. Деньги сделаны на афишах, они могут его клеить. То есть он может просто даже приехать и не играя закончить, что, в принципе, для меня, наверное, лучше, чем заканчивать лишь БК.
