Photo Ark | Series Trailer

[Music] All right, this'll work. Okay, we're ready for the cobra. [Music] He's running away from me. There we go, that's just the first one. I'm all worn out.

Okay, for the past 15 years, I've made a thousand trips to photograph over 10,000 species and subspecies for the photo arc. That was really, really good. It's a snapshot of life on Earth before these species disappear, not just to preserve them in a frame, but to get us to care about species while there's still time to save them. A lot of them are from the forests that have been hammered. It's a tragedy of epic proportions. We won't save what we don't love, and we won't fall in love if we don't connect.

You want to see who's that? [Music] I can't photograph this animal anywhere else. They are in the 25 most endangered permits in the world. Soda work really exists for animals like this. They're so small, they don't really exist in zoos, but they help make the world go around. [Music]

In the photo arc, every creature is the same size. That's the point. Big or small, they each have a role and a place on this planet. It's the toughest job I've ever had, but the one that matters most.

Finishing the intro lagrange multiplier example
So, in the last two videos, we were talking about this constrained optimization problem where we want to maximize a certain function on a certain set: the set of all points ( x, y ) where ( x^2 + y^2 = 1 ). We ended up working out, through some nice geom…
A Day in the Life of a Multi-Millionaire Shark Tank Star - Kevin O'Leary
4:45 in the morning. Why am I getting up so early? Well, today we’re gonna really hit the media trail. We’re gonna be switching Shark Tank back to Friday nights this Friday, which is absolutely fantastic. But we gotta let the world know about it. So what …
Application of the fundamental laws (solve) | Electrical engineering | Khan Academy
So in the last video, we did our circuit analysis. We set up the four equations that we needed to solve in order to figure out all the voltages and currents in our example circuit. And so now we’re going to solve it. This is a matter of doing the algebra …
Keegan-Michael Key Descends a Waterfall | Running Wild with Bear Grylls
[music playing] - There you go, that’s good. - Anyway. - Yeah. - Keegan-Michael Key and I are closing in on our extraction point, but first we’ve got to use a diagonal line to descend a 250-foot Icelandic waterfall. - That’s it. That’s it. Now keep your l…
Le Châtelier's principle | Reaction rates and equilibrium | High school chemistry | Khan Academy
Let’s imagine a reaction that is in equilibrium: A plus B can react to form C plus D, or you could go the other way around. C plus D could react to form A plus B. We assume that they’ve all been hanging around long enough for this to be in equilibrium, so…
Invertible and noninvertibles matrices
Let me just write a general two by two matrix A. So let’s just say its elements are A, B, C, and D. Now, from previous videos, we have learned how to find the inverse of our matrix A. The formula that we went over, the inverse of our matrix A, is going to…
