iPhone 5 unboxing

Hey guys, this is Maads 101, and today is a day I've been looking forward to for a while now because today is the day I receive my brand new iPhone 5 right here in this package. So without further ado, I'm going to do the unboxing.

All right, so here is the box. All right, as you can see, I switched from AT&T to Verizon. So here we go. I have three iPhones because I need three phones. No, I'm kidding! I actually just ordered my phone along with my sister and my mom's phone. So, real quick, I'm going to figure out which of these is mine so I can actually unbox mine for you.

All right, sorry about that. This is my phone right over here. I'll put another box in the background for you to look at. All right, so this is my iPhone. Okay, let's first take a good look at the box, all right? And then right here for you, I actually have some previous boxes, not all of them, but some of them.

So as you can see, Apple likes to make them smaller and smaller. So this is the iPhone 3G box, the iPhone 3GS box, and then the iPhone 4 box. So this one is a little bit bigger because the phone is actually longer, so it's taller. But without further ado, let's get to the unboxing.

All right, first I'm going to take this plastic off. All right, now right on the top, I see the thing I've been waiting for: my brand new iPhone! Here we are. And, just for comparison, I have an iPhone 3G right over here so you can see it is much thinner than the iPhone 3G was.

All right, I'll put this aside right over here. All right, now we get to this. We have the new Ear Pod headphones, which come with a case. We have the wall adapter, USB, the wall adapter, and we now have the new eight pin—uh, the eight pin—fire, what's it called? Firebolt cable or Thunderbolt cable? Something like that.

Uh, no, lightning! Yeah, the lightning cable. So I'll open that up for you. So here we are. Very, very small. I don't—like people said it's small, but it's very hard to realize how small it is until you actually see one.

So for comparison, here's a previous cable. So the USB part is smaller. Okay, and then the cable is the same length, and then at the very end, this is how big it previously was. And now we have much—we have a lot less pins because they use a dynamic system to say what each pin does, so that can actually change.

So there's the side of each and the length. So here it is, take off the sticker for you—the gorgeous display! I'm going to turn the phone on, and then I'll end the video.

So here it is, my brand new iPhone 5, along with my old phone and my family's phones. Okay, thank you for watching Maads 101. Have a nice day! Feel free to subscribe or check out our other videos.
